32 middle-school children, who became war migrants and were sheltered in Odesa, have visited the Catacombs, a local popular sight.
The excursion was organized by local authorities. In total, about 32,000 Ukrainian war migrants received shelters in the city and nearly 94,000 – in the Odesa region.

In June, Odesa hosted 6,000 children from Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Severodonetsk and other cities. Since then the number could raise by 50%, say local news sources.
The children, who had to leave their homes and witnessed the realities of war, receive psychological help and participate in a number of educational programs, organized by local authorities and charity organizations.

According to the latest statistic from UNICEF, 4,5 million children became war migrants and were displaced within Ukraine and abroad.
“The conflict in Ukraine has caused the fastest and largest displacement of people in Europe since World War II”, said the UN.
