Russia has launched 85 missiles, hitting residential areas in numerous Ukrainian cities and leaving dozens killed and injured, said local authorities.
At least 20 civilians were killed and injured in strikes on Kyiv that occurred on early Monday, the 10th of October.
A series of blasts were also reported in the other major cities of Ukraine, including Odesa, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Zhytomyr, Kryvyi Rih and the far western Ukrainian city of Lviv.

10 civilians died and about 60 were injured in the Russian missile attack on Ukraine on October 10
The authorities of the targeted Ukrainian cities are to report on casualties.
The strikes followed soon after Vladimir Putin blamed Ukraine for the damage to the Kerch Bridge that happened earlier.
The Kerch Bridge, which is also known as the Crimea bridge, was severely damaged by an explosion on the 9th of October – the day when the Russian president marks his birthday.
In his aftermath speech, Putin described the attack on the Kerch bridge as a ‘terrorist act’ and claimed that it had been carried out by the secret service of Ukraine.
The bridge is the key link between the Crimean Peninsula, occupied by Russia in 2014, to the Russian mainland.
Putin is to meet with his security cabinet today to plot further attacks on Ukraine and resort to nuclear weapons, say reports.
